Great news! Parents have worked diligently to find us 2 referees, so the Blaze game is back on! Can’t keep a good Blaze team down! See you tomorrow!

Due to lack of referees, the Blaze game for tomorrow night has been cancelled. We will attempt to reschedule. If we are not able, we will do 6th grade recognition at the staff/student ballgame in January. The away game for Thursday is still on! Go Blaze!

Congratulations to the following SCES students for having their artwork displayed at the Knoxville Museum of Art: Daisy, Adriana, Lilly, and Benson! Daisy placed 3rd in 6th grade for her cat drawing, and Adriana received honorable mention for her capybara drawing. Amazing talent!

CCS is blessed with our partnership with 3M. Over the past 8 years, they have donated more than $80,000 worth of materials and grants to CCS teachers and students! Jason Leslie, manager, truly puts supporting schools as a focus. Thank you for being such a Champion of Hope!


Jimmy and Leighann are so incredibly good to CCS! They graciously get up early on Saturday mornings to do an abundance of pancake breakfasts for our Blaze program. The answer is ALWAYS yes when you ask something of them. Apple Blossom is definitely a Champion of Hope!


Rusty Wallace Chevrolet and Mark Troutt are AMAZING to CCS! They have donated the digital sign at CCS and are contributing to a new play structure at NCES. They are true friends to our schools! CCS is proud to present them as a Champion of Hope!


Many thanks to Faith Promise for their unwavering dedication to CCS. During COVID they committed to helping feed our kids DAILY for 5 months straight! We couldn't have done it without them! We were proud to award them as a Champion of Hope!


CCS had the honor of presenting a Champions of Hope Award to ET Stamey for founding the Blaze Well-Rounded Program. We appreciate all that you have done for our kids, ET - "Father of the Blaze!"
